Hulk apologizes for 'God's will' comment

People can use profanity and refer to vile situations in rap music on the public airwaves of radio, etc., but just let someone mention "God" and everyone goes into a tizzy! Weird, huh?

He could say whatever he wanted to his kid, to keep him going...it's a free country right? At least it was, when I last checked. Remember, "Freedom of Speech?"

I would like to say to the media..."Get a life." There's plenty of stuff to report, without grasping at straws like this.

He shouldn't have had to apologize. If it were me, I wouldn't have given the media the acknowledgement of appearing on the show to explain myself.

Jail is supposed to be miserable, that is the point of it. He shold have told his son "son, you are just going to have to suck it up and deal with it. Jail is supposed to be miserable. Just be glad that it isn't you stuck in that hospital bed the rest of your life."

And as far as hardened criminals "breaking after 2 weeks in solitary". WHAT A BUNCH OF BS. I did 112 days is solitary. You just have a lot of time to reflect and listen to everyone scream to everyone else in solitary. It is just the Hogan Jr. is so spoiled that he can stand his own company.

And as far as a reality show when he got out. Are you kidding me? I hope every network boycotts it. We should be done with them. Hogan's story about he was just telling his son what he had to is a bunch of bull. He has spoiled his so much that a good friend has nearly gotten killed and they want to just go on with life and use this tragedy as a springboard for a new TV show.

What we really have is an unedited look into the private lives of a celebrity's and how they just view the public as a cash cow. You heard Hogan say that the entertainment business is his lively hood and that was how they made their money.

We need to be done with them.

The reason Hulk Hogan apologized is this $$$$$$$$$$$$$. He saw his career and money dwindling even more with those hideous comments he and his self absorbed wife made. They are done now and they know it. INSULTING AN INVALID who served our country to protect your freedom is so disgusting. Especially since it was their own son who did it.

They are exactly who they displayed on those tapes and now we all know it. This poor guy who did two tours in Iraq is now a vegatable and they want the most money for a reality show. They did a horrible job raising their kids.

Both Linda Hogan and Hulk Hogan are dating other people who happen to be teenagers! Linda Hogans new boyfriend went to school with her kids. They are shallow, selfish people. They deserve what is coming to them.

And have fun in court when a civil lawsuit is filed against your son and his assests and yours. The Hogans will pay for this with their careers and their bank account. They are history.......

Actually there are a lot of hardened criminals that do YEARS in solitary....(used to work in corrections) without problems... Nick--GROW UP and QUIT WHINING!!!! The kid chose to break the law and now has to deal with the consequences of his actions just like thousands of kids his age do EVERY SINGLE DAY..the only difference is those kids don't have a daddy with millions to bail them out every time they think they are above the law.......and NIck. if you think this is bad, if your buddy had died, you would have years in jail to think about it!!!

The rich think they are above the law, because they can buy their way out. Nick made his choice's and should have to deal with the consequence's. GROW UP!!!!!!. At least he will be be able to "walk" out of jail when his time is done, as for the friend, unfortunately will not be able to do much if anything ever. i hope the friends family sues in civil court and takes the hogan's to the cleaner's. it makes me sick how irresponsible celebrity parent's and celebrities themselves can be, peaple look up to them, i wouldn't want my kid to go around thinking that it's ok to drink and drive, drag race etc. and believe that the punishment won't be very much because it's how they see celebrities being treated. celebrity kid's these days are nothing but spoiled little brat's who need a good whooping.

God is everything. WHY should hogan apologize for saying his name.

Is it just me, or does it seem that Brooke is the only member of this family that has a somewhat decent head on her shoulders? Hulk and Linda need to support their son, but not enable him or place blame on others. And Nick, GROW UP and accept responsibilty for your actions instead of crying about the temporary loss of your cushy lifestyle!

I agree that the boy gets what he deserves. Commit the crime.... but (and Im no judge of Hulk), if he's a saved Christian, and he believes in God's plan for us all (Jer 29:11), then why can he not make a statement like that without having to apologize for it? When did it become necessary for Christians to apologize every time they mention God? If it would have been a Muslim saying Praise Allah that this boy was taken, there would have been no rush to apologize. Ridiculous world we live in nowdays.

By the way. God's Will be done, on Earth... as it is in Heaven. And no, Im not sorry at all.

So in the Hulkster's mind, if your child gets hit by a car it's because God is punishing him/her? All the people who died on 9/11 deserved it b/c of their bad lives? Gimme a break.

All the members of his family are self-centered and spoiled. They only care that the victim's family wants money for his 24-hr care for the rest of his life. Instead of Nick actually working to pay the civil damages and medical bills, he starts a charity to get everyone else to donate to pay his bills for him. How mature.

Hulk promoted his son's dangerous driving by buying him that vehicle, encouraging his "racing" career which seems to have only amounted to him illegally street racing, allowing him to drink, allowing him to hang out with guys in their 20s --what parent of a high school student would allow them to hang out with 24 year-olds?? And Nick's mother's whining shows he's a Mama's Boy who will never assume responsibility for anything in his life.

If "Dog the bounty hunter" can get his show back then the Hogans's will be alright\, don't you think?

I don't care what Hogan said to his son. It was supposed to be a private conservation. My question is, why did the jail feel they had to release the tape to the media and why isn't anyone asking who did it and why are they still employed? This is a typical non-story that the media had to have to make up for not reporting on real news that actually affects the nation and world.

I can not speak for others but I was not impressed, moved or believed anything Hulk Hogan said the other night on Larry King. His lack of compassion for the guy that is in a coma was disgusting. He didn't seem very christian like to me. If my son had done what his has done, I would be worried too. But I have raised my son to stop & think about the decisions he makes today because he will have to live with the consequences tomorrow & the rest of his life. He is 28 yrs old & I am proud to say he has made very good decisions with very few bumps on the way. I believe kids live by example & I believe this was not a good example for Nick to pay for his actions. Clearly a case of too much money & not enough responsibility.

All I can say is that Hulk and Linda's son turned out just like them. Thinking they are better than others, because they have money. I wouldn't watch a TV show with any of them on it ever again. In the taped recordings you hear what type of people they truly are. Hulk blaming this poor soul who is going to be in a bed the rest of his life, Linda crying like she really means it, bravo Linda...bravo! (she doesn't look devastated with that 19 year old on her arm!! She was all smiles. She needs to grow up along with her son! How embarrassing it must be for Brooke. Linda made me sick to my stomach. What kind of mother is she? Is that they kind of message she needs to portray right now?)...my heart breaks for Brooke. She has a messed up family, which is going to continue to play out in public. I couldn't think of anything more devastating to a young lady's career and mental health...loser parents and a spoiled brother.

GO TEAM HOGAN! One thing I have learned in life is what comes around goes around. I hope the Hogans are ready when they have to pay the piper. TOOT TOOT Then we'll talk about God's will Hulk!

We are all responsible for our own destiny. God's will is for everyone to come back to Him with our own free will. Whatever the reason for the accident, it has a purpose. Perhaps the purpose was that this incident was meant to 'wake up' Nick from his mental state, to see his own mistakes and start a new life. It is possible that his friend who got into a coma was willing to help Nick in this way and also to perhaps pay back any karma he had with Nick in the past, by helping him to rethink his actions and way of thinking so he can better his life. If Nick makes a serious effort to better his life, perhaps his friend will even come out of his coma, if that is part of the plan.

I am ashamed to admit that I watched Hogan Knows Best because I always thought that the Hulk Hogan was an egotistical, money grubbing male chauvinistic pig. But it was entertaining because they were so stupid. White trash living in a mansion. Then the money that they made went to their head and they thought that they could get away with anything; look at the episode where they have more animals than their city allowed and they went to court and fought with their neighbors. Just because you have money doesn't mean that you get to break the law and get away with it. If Nick had been Joe Blow's son he would have been doing much more time than he is. Nick is a spoiled brat who needs to pay for what he's done. There should be some ruling that he's never able to have a reality show or that every dime of the proceeds of it goes to the victim's family. Brooke seems like a really nice kid, but she clearly has no talent and some day she will also pay because she has been lead to believe that she is better than everyone else. Linda is definitely trying to 'pay Hulk back' by dating her kid's classmate, but the only thing she is doing is making herself look completely and utterly ridiculous. As for Hulk himself, first of all the idiot KNEW he was being tape recorded (apparently there were signs up stating that fact) so once again, either he was too dumb to believe that they would tape him OR he did it on purpose for what he is getting now....big publicity. Either way is totally sad but I think reflective of the 'real' Hulk Hogan and his family.

Hulk Hogan was a childhood hero of mine. I used to watch him wrestle as a little girl. I must say now I find him, his soon to be ex-wife and his son to be truly disgusting people. I sincerely hope we never see or hear from them again. This may have been just bits and pieces of a conversation but it showed their true natures. Nick Hogan committed a crime that cost a man his brain and he has audacity to complain about how miserable jail is. Even worse they all seem to think they can profit from this young man's tragedy. Nick Hogan is not the victim here, neither are his horrible parents as implied by Linda Hogan, this Iraq veteran is. What a weenie and a wuss. If he wants to act like a man then he needs to suck it up and take it like a man. He should have thought a little ahead, oh but wait he is privileged so the rules do not apply to him because he is special. Give me a bleedin' break. I think his parents are just as responsible for buying an irresponsible boy such a car. I hope they get taken to the cleaners in civil court. May they all fade away into obscurity.
